How to Republish

As a public service, all original WyoFile stories and columns are available free of charge to Wyoming and regional media.

Unless otherwise noted, all original WyoFile content is embargoed until 24 hours after publication at WyoFile.com, so that WyoFile may have exclusive publication for a full 24 hours. We appreciate your cooperation.

Editors may pull original WyoFile stories directly from our website. Please send a notification to [email protected] prior to republication. The use of photos may require additional permission from the original creator of the content. Photos and images created by WyoFile staff may be republished free of charge. We ask that photos and images are republished in the manner they were published with WyoFile content. If you need higher resolution photos, please ask us and we will do our best to help.

We ask that you credit the author and WyoFile.com in the byline, and link to WyoFile.com in online editions. These credits should be placed at the top of the article whenever possible. We also ask that WyoFile content is followed with a tagline with hyperlink at the end of each post, whether in print or online, such as: WyoFile is a nonprofit news organization focused on Wyoming people, places and policy.

When republishing WyoFile stories we prefer they are presented unedited, in their entirety, whenever possible. We realize this is not always possible, and qualified editors are welcome to cut stories to fit space. Do not hesitate to contact us if you would like us to provide a shortened version. Style edits or other necessary changes made for consistency and timeliness are acceptable.

We also appreciate urls and tear sheets of printed versions of our material, which can be emailed to [email protected] or sent to WyoFile, 1740 Dell Range Blvd, Suite H, #462, Cheyenne, WY 82009.

If you regularly re-publish WyoFile content, please consider supporting us so that we may continue this valuable service. Contact WyoFile operations manager Guy Padgett at [email protected], or make a donation here.
