A lawsuit filed in state district court on Thursday alleges that leaders of Wyoming’s legislative and executive branches are ignoring construction spending statutes.
Gov. Matt Mead used his sixth State of the State address Monday to challenge the Wyoming Legislature to resist deep cuts to social services and other state programs.
The Wyoming Legislature convenes for the 2016 budget session and will spend the next four weeks crafting a budget to reflect shrinking revenue.
