Summer is in full swing as evidenced by the festivals, fairs and concerts taking place around the state.

Beer festivals are a relatively new and increasingly popular fixture of the Cowboy State’s seasonal calendar with upcoming events in Cheyenne, Evanston, Laramie, Cody, Gillette and Saratoga.

Those who missed the Lander Brewfest last weekend will have another opportunity for revelry in the sun at the Lander Live free concert series which kicks off July 13 with Sister Sparrow & The Dirty Birds.
