Wyoming Medical Center laid-off 58 employees in Casper last week. Hospital workers shouldn’t be the only ones losing their jobs because of the Legislature’s refusal to expand medicaid.
Sen. Charles Scott
Wyoming senators will amend a potentially costly plan for expanding Medicaid this week, while taking a fresh look at Gov Mead’s SHARE Plan.
Gov Mead should haul the GOP legislative leadership into his office and flatly tell them Wyoming is going to end this heartless nonsense and finally expand Medicaid.
Rather than the fed-vetted SHARE plan, a legislative committee will back an alternative, much more complex bill crafted by the panel's chairman, Sen. Charles Scott.
