Wyoming produced an estimated 75 million barrels oil in 2014 — a 20 percent year-to-year increase. But the dramatic drop in price is expected to drag production down in 2015.
“The capacity to increase coal production and the capacity to increase natural gas production is there, given the right market circumstances,” said Wyoming State Geological Survey director Tom Drean.
